We had a lot of fun during our retreat this past weekend at Roman Nose. Stay tune for details on our next one!

Crystal took the Beginning Weaving class and wove this scarf in one day. Yarn used was Marble Chunky. Super job, Crystal!

I was unable to make it to the yarn - in this past Saturday, so today I brought in some of my recent finished projects. This is MG'S broken rib infinity scarf pattern made with 1 skein of Tangier yarn each. I love how well this pattern shows off the color variation in the yarn.  ;-)

Genia and Michelle finished their Snowdrift Cowl. Michelle, on left, Cherub Aran, and Genia used Berroco Vintage Chunky.

I think these two are having a lot of fun in Shirley's class!

Wow! Kay has been busy weaving. What gorgeous items!! Thanks for sharing, Kay

The last yarn from Blue Heron is Bulky Rayon Chenille. This super soft yarn comes in hanks of 250 yards and retails for $38.

The second yarn from Blue Heron is Cotton Rayon Twist. This stunning dk weight yarn comes in hanks of 630 yards and retails for $42.

Liz grabbed a couple of these for weaving!

It's been like Christmas around here with all the beautiful new yarns we have been receiving! We have three gorgeous new yarns from Blue Heron Yarns. The first is a lace weight Egyptian Mercerized Cotton. I wish the gorgeous, rich sheen showed in the picture.

It comes in hanks of 1000 yards and retails for $42.

For a long time, I've been on the lookout for a super bulky yarn. It seemed that every time I thought I had found one, they also had a bulky price tag. That is until I found this one from Borgo de' Pazzi named, Naturalia. Naturalia is a single spun 100% wool with a thread running along side. Each hank contains 200grams or 132 yards. Retails for $20. Check out these free patterns with purchase of yarn! As the name implies, all the colorways are natural colors.

Look at this gorgeous shawl that Michelle knitted! Yarn used was Bamboo Pop. Sorry, but I do not know the pattern name. Excellent work, Michelle!
